A fan site,
built on public data
SoloDodgers reads Major League Baseball's open data and shows it clearly, in Spanish and English. Nothing more, and nothing less.

Why this site exists
Following the Dodgers in Spanish is harder than it should be. The numbers are usually in English, spread across several pages, or buried under ads and video. If all you want is to know how the team is doing, who is hitting best, or when the next game is, you end up working for it.
SoloDodgers was built to fix that: one page that loads fast, answers those questions directly, and explains what the numbers mean for anyone just getting into baseball.
Where the data comes from
Everything here comes from the MLB Stats API, Major League Baseball's public data service, operated by MLB Advanced Media. It is the same source that feeds the official scoreboards.
The data is requested by your own browser every time you open a page. We keep no copy and run no intermediate database. That has two good consequences: what you see is always current, and there is no server of ours holding information about you.
Statistical data are facts and belong to no one, but the service that delivers them does belong to MLB Advanced Media, and we credit it on every page.
How we work
These are the rules we set for ourselves, and we keep them even when they cost traffic:
- We only publish what the data supports. No trade rumours, no "sources close to the team", no headlines promising something the page does not deliver. If we cannot check it against the API, it does not go up.
- We use no player photos, logos or team marks. Not MLB's and not the clubs'. The site's entire visual identity is typographic and our own. This is not a technical limitation: it is a decision, because those images belong to their owners.
- We do not generate images of real people with artificial intelligence. An invented photo of a player in a situation that never happened is misleading, however good it looks.
- When a number can be misread, we explain it. That is why the glossary exists: showing a .288 is not enough — you have to say what that .288 ignores.
- If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Write to us and we will correct it.
What we are not
- We are not the official site of the Los Angeles Dodgers or of Major League Baseball, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them.
- We do not sell tickets, merchandise or subscriptions.
- We have no contact with players, their representatives or the organisation.
- We do not stream games or link to streams.
